Do you have any programs running that might be blocking AnyDVD from working? Its possible it could be running buta security program could be blocking it.

Makesure your not running any other copy protection software at the same time.(DVD43)

If all else fails uninstall AnyDVD and reinstall it. Maybe for some reason it didnt install correctly. But first check and see if any program is blocking it and uninstall any other software you might have used in the past that strips copy protection. DVD43 and AnyDVD can conflict.

Double click on your AnyDVD icon on the desktop and make sure that you have the drive with the disc in it checked under the "Drive" tab.

Its ok as long as you dont have DVD43 installed its been known to conflict with AnyDVD. It seems that it is taking off the copyprotection.

Make sure that the DVD is clean and scratch free.
If there are scartches on it then it might be a good idea to try to download and use DVD Decrypter to rip it to your HDD.

Dang thier up to 5.8.1.1 just seemd like last week they updated the program lol

have you used this combo on a DVD yet and sucsfully backed it up?

I suspect there is probaly a program thats blocking it or conflicting with it and not letting AnyDVD work properly.

What DVD burrning software do you have installed?
