i am trying to backup a series of dvds for the first season of the beverly hillbillies....i ran the first dvd through dvd shrink and reauthored it - it has only one "title" and compresses it to 57% i'm afraid this will not make a very good backup copy - is there a better way of doing this? thanks in advance for any help.

yes, you can change the compression on other things instead

for instance, if there are movie preview in the extras folder in dvdshrink, press the + and expand it, then select the extras you dont care about and click on the compression tab on the right side of your window and select still image in the compression selection area,

the smaller these files are, the less the menues will be compress.

in my opinion, on a 32" screen, anything over 60% will look fine, but 57 shouldnt be noticeably

also, in the compression tab, take off some of the audio chanals. such as 5.1 if you have a 2 speaker system where you watch it
