I am officially losing my mind. Norton told me that I had the Bloodhound.Exploit.6 virus, but it couldn't fix the problem. I had been having problems online with errors and internet crashes. I looked online and it was recommended that I run the following in SAFE mode, but for some reason I can't seem to get my computer to let me run in "safe" mode - I push F8 when it reboots but it just prompts me to select a drive to reboot. I can't figure it out so I started following directions in "non safe" mode: Ran Spybot Ran AdAware Ran Spysweeper Tried running Panda ActiveScan (but my computer kept telling me there was a problem with the internet connection so it would time out) Downloaded KillBox Ran HiJackThis to determine what I needed to use he Killbox application to remove. So here I am - I have my HijackThis log, but I have no clue how to read it. Some places say delete C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe, but then others say don't. I'm trying to research, but I just can't take it anymore. Is there anyone out there who would be a doll and take a look at my log? What should I delete? I have a Sony PCV-RS530G that I bought in 2004. I recently reformatted my entire C drive to start over since I was having trouble with GigaPocket and Click to DVD. I have Norton, Zone Alarm, Registry Mechanic, Ewido and listen to Leo Laporte, but there is still no answer. Thanks (in advance) for your help! youll get that most times if you run two anti viruses, the confliting anti viurs will think itmes on the other detection list are viruses...false positive response.
