Howdy, I'm pretty new to this I just got my box all set up. I put a Xecuter 2.6 lite in it and used Slayers auto installer. Now I'm kinda wanting to set up an internet connection to the box to use XBMCs online functions. I have a Dlink wireless router with two computers sharing a connection to cable. Whenever I ftp to the box I unhook one from internet and plug it in with a crossover. Is there a guide someone can give me a link to or can someone help me out? Appreciate it.
Okay You can use your router with a regular ethernet wire to your xbox, now swith your static ip to DHCP then change your ip to 192.168.1.101 When you use your ftp program, type in the the ip you changed and it will work, including all your online fuctions, that is what i did Hope this helps
okay I actually have three computers hooked up to the dlink. One is connected wirelessly the others are hooked up with a network cable.
