Hello and thank you in advance for your assistance. I am new to the buring game and every DVD that I decode using DVD Shrink and then burn to DVD-Rs comes out to be widescreen rather then full screen, even when I burn without any compression. Does anyone have any idea how to remedy this problem? Is it a setting in DVD Shrink to convernt into widescreen? HELP! Thank you again.

This is a TV series so there are not two versions of the show (i.e. one widescreen and one normal) The normal dvd, shows only normal. Thanks! I just finished burning "the Office" and the School of Rock - both full screen features when I play the actual DVD but on the burned copy it show up in widescreen. Actually there is about a 1" black bar on the bottom of the screen and a 2" black bar on the top of the screen. I am really trying to burn the DVDs in full screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First of all, DVD Shrink will not alter your aspect ratio. You can use it to choose full or widescreen when a disc gives you a choice, but this doesn't appear to be the case here. What program are you burning with? (Shrink will only rip, process and direct another program to burn, it is not a burner)

Are you sure that your player or Tv isn't causing the problem?
