Hi there, I did look on the gides and what other people have asked but no luck.
ive had these problems for a couple of weeks now.
Ive got a few films that i want to put onto DVD R so they can be watched on a standalone DVD player but both formats are giving me trouble.
Ive tried lots of different programs like: Ultra RM Converter, EO Converter and many more.

If anyone could help me put Bin/Cue and Rmvb files onto DVD r it would be very helpful. :)

I also tried burning a bin que file with imagburn to a DVD and it didn't turn out either, wouldn't play on my DVD home unit. However I loaded the bin file to convert, was it supposed to be the cue file?

To elaborate more, it was converted to an ISO from the bin file and then I tried to burn it to DVD with nero but Nero said to pit in a cd-r disc, I wanted to burn to a DVD disk, then I loade it into Decrypter and it burned to DVD but didn't work..ed

    hello

first you and us need to know and understand what you have and where you want to get to...

iso is only a wrapper! it could hold a bag of sweets inside for all we and you know?

so we need to look inside, either useing winrar or isobuster!

also to note most bin/cue files are SVCD or VCD !!! which is .DAT for vcd or mpeg1 for svcd! (for cdr's)

ps2 and xbox wont play these well not to my knowledge anyway.

but you can convert these formats to dvdr that will play on standalone players including xbox and ps2.

extract the bin file with winrar or isobuster

then we cab see what you got! do you know if it is vcd or svcd?

vcdgear can extract a bin to mpeg then you can encode the mpeg useing mainconcept to create a dvd compliant mpeg2 which will need authoring to vob/ifo/bup

let me know how it goes!

I did exactly what you did ewddy48, asked for a cd-r disk.
Rotary i think if you dont mind explaining it step by step in simple terms for myself and maybe some others it would really help.
Also any help on the RMVB format would be appreciated.

In winrar there is no option to extract a bin file, I believe you can't do it.

open the mpegav folder and get the .dat/mpg out

i use vcdeasy on mpeg tools to make it from .dat to mpeg

once yo get mpeg load to divxtodvd to make dvd files

(note - vcd to dvd very lossy quailty)

vcdgear will extract from bins to make an mpeg from bin files to i believe?

After the .dat file is converted (using vcdgear) to DVD files, is the quality alot worse than burning the bin file cause bin files are not great quality to start with.
