Nokia 6102 from Cingular

I need assistance in unlocking a Nokia 6102 from Cingular. IMEI is 357100000085172 I'm scheduled to leave for Nassau and want to use my handset there w/Batelco

still showing up "Phone Restriction" on the screen.

 

did you put a new sim in or no sim or leave your sim in?

 

no sim is inserted, also I have tried a T-Mobile sim and still get the same restriction message

 

are you sure the fone is cingular and not at&t?

 

positive. Cingular branded, Cingular box, Cingular power on message..,Cingular phone

 

double checked all should work, don't enter anymore codes yet! unless it is from NoLimit04 or Etowah

 

Some of these phones unlock with codes and some don't. It's not that we don't know how to unlock them, it's that during certain weeks of production of the 6101's and 6102's, Nokia done something different and we're not sure what it is yet. Most of them do unlock with no problem but we think that a lot of the phones were in the hands of another owner at one time and they tried to unlock the phones and when they failed, they took the phone back and exchanged it for a new one. They then would re-package the phone as new again and sell to the next customer not knowing it has been hardlocked. I do know this has happened for a fact. You can try this code and if it doesn't work, I have nothing else for it. The first code [bold]psxnut[/bold] gave you was correct but this is an alternative code just in case the phone does have a chance.

Thanks for all the help, but I guess this is one of those Nokia's that will not unlock. Luckily I have an unlocked Innostream that I can take just wanted to take the Nokia for the video but, oh well. Thanks anyway.
