Hey guys, I am having trouble at this one spot in the game F.E.A.R. where everytime I kill one of two enemies (just regular enemies nothing special) the game freezes and I have to close down and restart my computer in order to get back into the game. I have all the latest patches installed. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so what i can do about it. Thanks
Hey not completely sure of the problem. But considering you have a actual legal copy of it i would just uninstall FEAR and reinstall it. I have had to do this once and it gives you the option of saving all your last save point.
awesome, ill test it out thanks. Its funny because a buddy was playing the game but on a different profile and it didnt do the same thing, so im not sure what the problem was.
I tried the reinstall and it still does the same thing at the same spot. I am cutting my losses and am just going to start the game over. I still think its very unusual though.
Well sorry about that. I thought about this jsut now maybe right before you play clean the disc off?? i know its a rookie mistake but even if it doenst look dirty it can still malfunction. But yeah i actually got done playing tonight and WOW what a great ending. you have to finish it.
I thought i'd ask what part does it get stuck in? I think it tells you the name of the level and stuff on the Load Game screen. - chris
