I have downloaded a few movies and many are in the XVID codec which I have. However, I am having lots of trouble burning them to dvd. It seems that none of the Ulead programs complete the encoding and TMPGenc keeps locking up after it runs the movie. If I view the movie on my computer, it's ok but I don't know how else to encode it. Thanks for any help you can give me. Paul
Sorry, forgot to get back...been trying all kinds of things. I'm at work and don't have the exact message with me but it basically said that TMPEnc could not continue due to a break in something. So, after trying a few other progs to get this to work I decided to download the movie again from another source. It work this time. So, it appears there was more than bad frames involved with this movie. Still I wonder why so many of the progs I tried did not tell me about this. Chalk it up to my steep learning curve. Thanks for your attempts to solve my problems.
