Is there a special Trick to copy Dark Water? I keep getting bad data errors with Shrink, even after ripping the movie with DvdDecryptor
if dvddecrypter and dvdfabdecrypter fail(w/ fab you will not know until you process!) then it's time to turn to the likes of anydvd or psl2 plugin wizard for pgcedit(freeware) to get you past i/o errors w/ decrypter or bad data errors w/ shrink! dark waters does have nerwer arcoss so I turned towards the psl2 wizard which I find myself doin more and more it even cleans up the file after decrypter (with or without anydvd) rips via fixvts and gives you a cleaner output! l8ter!
I got the same errors with Shrink--even with AnyDVD running. With AnyDVD still running, I used CloneDVD to rip it. It worked with no problems And if I'm not mistaken, I think Dark Water (2005) has about 40 minutes of menu time. I found that odd.
@L8ter - Dark Water doesn't have ArccOss, it has RipGuard. Both AnyDVD and CloneDVD 2 will be able to handle it, though.
Before the last AnyDVD update, I got the navigation error with AnyDVD and DVD Shrink combo...opened up Recode with AnyDVD and backed beautifully.
That is the process of taking DNA from a cloned sheep to clone another sheep. As for the shrink to cloneDVD, never heard of that one before.
hey opus54. if you don't have clonedvd2 or don't want to buy it, ripped the files with decrypter or fabdecrypter and takes those files and run them thru this free program, the resulting forder(files)will be compressed with shrink or whatever program you wnat to use. http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/vobblanker.htm
@ dakota fan your picture refferences arccoss "removed wrong dvd structure"! it even states in big letters that media is css protected! rip guard is a protection that just stops you from ripping it fast! usually you can rip no faster than 2x4x when limited by ripguard! but rip guard is all but obsolete just something mastering studio's probably charge the greedy bastards @ paramount for (justice??) @elizerroj thank you for making since! so few do around here any more! just run your processed matierial through fixvts or vobblanker to get rid of all the stuff that "ripguard" *sighs* left behind!
