Can I use this? (DVD Shrink 3.2 and change the burn media in an option to burn to a 8.5 disc) What should I use?
I have DVD X Copy also, but I don't believe it's installed properly even though I still use it. Can't see where to change the desired disc output size.
    Please help.

Using dvd shrink on Dual layer media: It all depends on what you are burning with. This is the only time I don't use dvd shrink and since no compression,it'll be a lot faster and less strain if you have limited resources.

If you have nero6,it has trouble with the layer break.I don't advise using nero for dl backups.Lots of issues, and coasters.

I use dvd decrypter in Mode ISO read to Hard drive-remember where those files go and click the hard drive-burn icon and it'll rip away.

After ripping, click Mode ISO write/locate mds files/and click burn. It's very effective on dl backups. This mode is a 1:1 copy,no compression is needed. When you rip in ISO mode, you'll have 2 folders for that movie: ISO image and MDS folder.Just click MDS folder/select burn speed/and click the hard drive-burn icon.

Another option is rip with dvd decrypter in Mode ISO read.
Open up IMGburn/locate that mds folder and burn. Very similar to dvd decrypter's ISO write mode.Even written by the same author, Lightning UK! It's suppose to be a more effective dl burn program.
