Does anybody know how can iPod display subtitles (when watching
    movies)?

I have converted three films so far to .mp4 with english subtitles
but how can they be displayed?

    Is this even possible?
    Thanks.

    If you follow my guide
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/244629

You can include the subtitles by using PQDVD. when you are on the DVD menu, just activate the subs as you would on a normal DVD. Then they will show up when encoding. Note, they will be extremely small though, and they will be unremoveable.

    I've done that.

    Any other way?

    With Nero Recode 2 maybe?

if you've done that, then what's the problem? You already knew that it was possible and how to do it..

PQDVD is in my humble opinion, the best there is, and I have tried all of them....

What settings do you apply to your video when encoding using PQDVD?
