Hello...im new to this forum...i need some help with some problems im having recording. Im using DVD Shrink and use a lite-one dvd burner...after i record a dvd..it plays fine till about 30 min into the movie..it starts to stutter and show giants block pixels..eventually it comes to a complete stop and freezes. Can anyone tell why whats going on? Im using Nexxtech blank dvd-R's and GQ brand dvd-r's
Problems like those are usually due to really crappy media. Just b/c the brand is GQ media doesn't mean it's so. Great Quality my ass. Try Yuden or Verbs. SOny and fuji are good if they are made in japan ,otherwise, no. Next, what speed are you burning at? Try 4x.
You can also try to Custom size the DVD output to 4300 in DVD shrink. That way it wont burn to the edge of the blank media. Also like above next time get better quility media.
