I'm converting family vhs videos to DVD. I copied the tape to my Humax DRT800 (TiVo) and then to my computer via TiVo Desktop. Windows Explorer reports this as a "tivofile" file type. I want to do some editing like removing some backround noise and maybe create chapters. Can somebody tell me what software I'll need & what order I'll be using them in? I have Nero Ultra 6.6, DVD Shrink, DVD Encrypter. Thank you very much.
It can be done but not with any of those. It may be considered infrengment in some cases. So I can only give you some things to search for. You will need moonlight xmuxer and directx 9 graphedit. A good phrase is converting .tivo to .mpg
I think I need to clarify myself here. These are home movies taken on our camcorder. If it's not too large, will Nero handle the entire project? Thanks.
