This is a problem I raised before, solved with two movies and now I'm back again. Only I can't remember what I did on those times. In both cases I had an avi file, with Divx compression, that had dual-audio tracks. My normal burning procedure, using Procoder to convert to MPEG2, only got me one audio track and gave me no option to choose the one I wanted. What I had to do, after trying everything, was using a program (which I think was VirtualDub but didn't work now) to extract the wav track I wanted and feed that audio track for the Procoder conversion. Things were fine with no sync problems. I need to go through Procoder because the original files are PAL and I need NTSC. What programs can provide that audio extraction?
Well, this was a fast one. And I am answering my question myself, thanks to another thread on audio levels on this Forum which reminded me how I had done it before. Yes, it was VirtualDubMod indeed, going through Streams and then saving the chosen wav track.

Glad to help. Go here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/284337 Go to Streams on VirtualDub and pick your audio track. Then save that as a wav track. Worked for me beautifully. The film is already burned with the audio in sync.
