Okay I want to get one thing clear. I am very much a "newbie" at all of this modding. Basically my rom on my xbox went out for the 3rd time. People that I work with told me to go with the Samsung drive. I then bought one on ebay. Now all I have to do is mod the damn thing. (please understand that I am without my xbox and going through withdrawls) I have read forums and they say that in order for it to work I must flash it with some firmware. How do I do that? I also have a question, on the tutorial it says to remove the front board motor,turn 180 degrees and resolder, why is that? Any help would be great please. All of the other instuctions I understand
