    Place a check next to the following item(s) and click the fix button. Re run a scan and post.

    O3 - Toolbar: MereSurfer - {340166BC-786B-401F-96AC-7C8821EFA9CD} - (no file)

    Click on the misc tools button and click on startup list log. Paste that into the reply as well.

    Then click the open uninstall manager and paste that in as well.

    <EDIT>

    Click in the hosts file manager and paste that in as well.

    You might want to think about removing errornuker. Based on research, that does not need to run at startup and it also has some things about it that concern me.

    It sounds like something has a hook in the explorer process which is causing the explorer crash. LMN

    <EDIT EDIT>

    See if there is another instance of wmiexe.exe in a location other than c:\windows\system

    im sorry,i dont get the misc uninstall thing, so can you explain it a little less complex, and bitdefender doesnt allow me to update for sum reason. And for sum reason, i try to uninstall bitdefender, but when i click the uninstall thing, it told me that only the real version or sumting can be uninstalled, and the bitdefender i have IS the real version.

    On the main screen of HJT click the button marked "Open the Misc Tools section. All of the stuff I asked for is there. Click the button required and it will show a list of entries. You can highlight all of the information and paste it into a reply

    Did your crashing problems start around the same time that BD started acting up on you?

    BTW dont forget to post what I requested

    Download and run Ewido from here http://www.ewido.net/en/
