Unlocking Palm Treo 600

    Hi, I just got a Palm Treo and I want to use it with Cingular...can I do that?
    I'm new at this...thanks in advance :)

    Hi again....so does anybody know if the PalmOne Treo 600 can be unlocked to Cingular...and does it work well with Cingular.

    Hello this is to let you know the treo 600 can be unlocked. I pirchased my treo already unlocked. I don't know how it will work with cingular but it works well with t-mobile. I tried my son's sim card from cingular and it worked ok. I did no try it for a long period of time. I asked several phone companies if they could unlock it prior to my purchase and they said yes. THe cost was about 30.00. Hope this helps.

    Thanks, I actually decided to get it unlocked beforhand. It's actually not too bad with Cingular.
