How can I test if a copy has copied perfectly?

Is there a quick way to do this?

Currently I use DVDShrink to copy to hard drive, then Nero to burn to disc. Then DVDShrink to analyse the copy.

I thought the quick analysis on DVDShrink would be enough but just lately I've found one or two where that hasn't been the case so I have analysed fully (which takes the usual 10-15 mins).

Is this an infallible check? Is there a quicker check? Any help appreciated.

You can run a Disc Quality check on Nero CD/DVDSpeed to scan for errors...

    My method:

Use quality media (TY and Verb)
Burn @8X (or 4X if your setup likes this speed best)
    Updated firmware
    No multitasking

I watched and scanned discs in the beginning to make sure that my backups were fine. Then, I stuck with my method. I scan now only when I change a variable (ie, media, firmware, etc). Other than that, I have faith in my setup and my procedure, and, to date, I haven't been let down...

Use the quick scan feature on Nero's Toolkit under Nero CD-DVD Speed, then select Disc Quality tab and check the Quick Scan box.

You are too fast teflonmyk :)

I know there's programs out there, but the best way is to view it on multiple DVD player. Like [bold]teflonmyk[/bold] mentioned, media is key to a great copy.
