Is it possible to make a dvd from various dvds like a mix dvd. i only want to copy certain chapter from various dvds. thanks for any help you can offer
You can use Shrink. I made a couple of guides: How to make a clip: http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/tutorial001.html How to assemble a few clips from different DVDs: http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/clips_guide2.html Let me know if the guides work for you.
can you tell me how the sound works i would like to either use 2.0 or 5.1 is that possible? and thanks for the previous info!
Each clip can have it's own specific audio type selected during the re-authoring process for the specific clip. AC-3 5.1 should suffice, so just select it. If the playback equipment is 5.1 capable then that is what you will hear. If played on a two channel system then the playback equipment will "fold" the 5.1 audio into 2 channel audio. So there is no need to have both audio streams. You can't have both if you are using Shrink to make the clips. You can have both streams on the dvd but you will not have any menu to select them with. This process does have it's limitatations. You are working with a free program so don't expect full authoring/editing capabilities.
