I've been a ps2 user since it came out. I bought ps2 because it was what the people around me had, and I wanted to be able to trade games. But I'm fed up with the unreliable piece of garbage that is ps2.
I want to know, how reliable is the XBOX comparted to the ps2? What are its common problems, and how common are they?
I will never buy another Sony game system. The only question is whether I buy an XBOX/XBOX 360 or whether I just retire from video games once and for all.

right now for the price an xbox would be your best bet u can mod it and get the same fun out of it...there are so many applications that go with it and right now untill they mod the 360 i would just buy and xbox...as for the problems i havent had one with mine in 3 years i also have a ps2 (dont really play it anymore but its modded too)go get a xbox and mod it thats your best bet.

My PS2 is still goign 6 years strong.

Here's a Xbox 360 story - How woudl you like to be playing a late night game of Condemed Criminal Origins and be in a really scary part of the game only to hear two 60mm fans whirling louder than the small sounds of drugged out vagrant movement??? Ruins the whole damn game for half the time. I will give compliment to the auto fan speed ajustment based on system load, makes DVD viewing perfect.
