burned movies do not look as good on my 60' hdtv as it does on my 27' why is this and what could i do to upgrade the picture?
What speed are you burning the movies at. What kind of media are you using? What setting do you have shrink on?
Well a cynic would say; pirate a better class movie, cuz 60' is sixty foot an 27' is twenty-seven of the same.... an inch is..." a foot ..' There's lot of folk, who are willing to help, as long as you ask the question.. gringle.
Try useing the quality settings if you are using dvd shrink or use better software such as dvd-rebuilder with cce or hc encoder. All these suggestions will take longer to transcode/encode but you can't have both speed and great quality if compression is required.
