hey guys. i haven't posted here in a long time and when i do its almost always in the dvd forums. nice to be back! anyway, i've recently got more into burning cd's after spending over a year doing practically only dvd's. im not as up to speed on cd media as i am dvd media. so my question is this...if im not mistaken arent there sometimes cd-r's labeled for "data" and some labeled for "music"? and if so, what is the difference, if any? i pretty much just burn music to my cd'r's. should i try to find the ones that say "music" on them? or just get something like TY's where it probably wont matter since they are such high quality?
thanx guys.

As far as I know, the only difference is the price/gimmick.
A "data" cd can be used as an audio disc. So, no worries. Just do some looking around and make sure you don't get CMC or Prodisc cds.
Sony CDRs are on sale at staples for $10 a 50 spindle. Bring in some old printer ink cartridges and get $3 off.

When evolution selects its agents, it does so at a cost, makes demands in exchange for singularity, and you may be asked to do something against your very nature. This force, evolution, is not sentimental. Like the Earth itself, it knows only the hard facts of life's struggle with death. All you can do is hope and trust that when you have served its needs faithfully, there may still remain some glimmer of the life you once knew.
