After I decrypt the dvd and put it into my hard drive, I burn using "burn dvd-video files." It usually works well but lately it will start burning to the dvd+r and after awhile(usually after it writes about 50% to the disk) it freezes up. the buffer bars also freeze up, the top at 100%, and the bottom at around 90%. The time keeps ticking and no matter how long I leave it, it won't burn. Anyone know what's going on? thanks

There isn't a log(I don't know how to do one anyway) because it freezes up and there isn't an error.

I defraged and it didn't help. I called Hp(I have a hp burner) and they couldn't figure it out either. Weird

Do you upgrade your virus software regularly and have spyware remover programs running?

I have everything disabled I think, it's AVG free so it doesn't really run unless I scan the computer. But I haven't changed any of my settings since the burner last worked.
