Hi, Recently my xbox has started to crash, displaying the message 'the disc may be damaged or dirty', when the game is brand new (Madden 2006) and unscratched. The game works fine on another xbox, so it must be mine. Any ideas on whats causing it? Thanks in advance Paul

Samsung 2. Philips 3. Thompson thats not to say a person with a Thompson drive cant get years of good play out of it, there are many that have had no trouble at all with their Thompson drive. Those ratings are just based on the majority of people's experience. Keep in mind, with quality comes price. you're going to pay more for a Samsung than you would a Thompson. Either way there are many of them for sale on ebay or any of the xbox repair sites.
