I recently set up a tv tuner in my pc to catch shows i missed. I would like to not have to sit in front of my pc and id like to lay on the couch and watch them on my dvd player. The files i get from recording are 1.2gb size mpeg files. Can nero fit and maintain quality of that on a burn? to 1 disk? Do i need a DVD burer or is my CD-RW ok? What is the diffrence between cd-r and cd+r.... i see diffrent times listed for space.. but they all are about 700mb's when i open them.. Im guessing cd-r is audio and files and cd+r is video and stuff? i dunno. How much does nero cost? Is there a better cheaper alternative? Will it do what i want it to do?
Nope, you need a dvd for anything over 700 mb(i think) However, you could probably use Divx and shrink it, im not quite sure. CD+/-R doesnt matter when it comes to audio and video, so don't worry about that. You should have some burning software that will let you make a VCD(Video CD) that will be playable in most DVD drives. give me a bit more info on your setup, and I'll try to help.
