NEC DVD+RW ND-1101A Can't burn DVD+r But will RW

I have a new dell, and my burner NEC DVD+RW ND-1100A can burn DVD+RW but not DVD+R, I'm using Nero Burning Rom. I get and error message saying "Cannot perform end of Disc-at-once". Does anyone have a clue on how to fix this???
