message says: no ntsb

    i downloaded a movie online which plays in my car and also on my xbox but when i play it on my home dvd player i get a message that says " no ntsb" what is this and why wont it play...

    You sure it doesn't say "no NTSC". NTSB is (National Transportation Safety Board). NTSC, and PAL are DVD formats.

    yeah your right... it says " NO NTSC" but now it plays in my xbox and on my computer but not on my regular dvd player. is there a way to make it play.

    Your DVD player only recognizes NTSC format and not PAL. PAL is the european standard for DVD formatting. The DVD is PAL and your DVD player will not recognize it. If you don't want to lose your movie because of this. Try downloading TMPGEnc or DVDSanta to convert the movie to NTSC. Very simple to do and will give you the same exact quality, only in the correct format.
