    Hi All,

OK, this is probably a stupid question for even the novice's but I'm not sure what I'm doing. I've had a quick read on the guides but it's still not quite clear in my head what I need to do.

I have some clips (lets call them home movies), which I have in .avi format.

I want to watch these clips on my tv, through my DVD.

So, what do I do, using which programmes (e.g. win2avi, decryptor) should I use in which order?

My burning software is NTI Gold, which will let me burn VCD's (not SVCD's without an upgrade) or DVD's (though i'm not sure on the setting - it makes the Video_ts folder (I think that's was it's called)).

I need just a rough bullet point list of start to finish!

Thanks in advance and I hope for some advice!

a great program to convert .avi format video to DVD format and burn it to disk is DivxtoDVD. Just add the video and it will convert and then burn to disk! Just put the option to burn to disk in the settings and off you go..... it does all the work and it's great! Job done!
