Verbatim 16x DVD-R disc 4,7GB 50-pack (Advanced AZO) Cake Box

I ordered these discs based on research on these forums and what I believe is the general consensus that these are a pretty excellent media for movie back up.

I would appreciate your comments. (Going paranoid here lol!)

    Can't go wrong with Verbatim.

I always use Verbatim, Love them, but only use the +R so that I can Booktype to DVD-ROM. And I have had a little trouble with some of the Verbatim –R’s. Just make sure they are made in Taiwan and you should be OK.

Excellent choice!! I will only use Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.
Even though they are excellent I would not recommend burning at max - 16x. If you have a good burner that supports 16x - I would burn these at 8x max. Also make sure your firmware is up to date since this is somewhat newer media.
