Hi, when cloning a bought DVD I'm having a bit of trouble, most of the time they work great but for some reason the odd one is full of hang ups and jumps. I am decrypting using DVD shrink with DVD43 in the background, then burning usin nero 6, i have also tried decrypting via dvd decryter. For some reason the odd movie fails the first time i try to burn it aswell then the second copy is full of hang ups. Is there any solution. my last problem DVD was hitch it copied fine according to the PC but played back awful to the point I had to turn it off. Cheers for any help: I am using a AMD sempron 2600 with 512mb ram, windows SP1. Samsung DVD+/-RW with ritek G05 disks.
My suggestion would be to make sure your drive's firmware is up to date and that your not burning at max speed. I might also run a lens cleaning disc in the dvd player. Post your last nero log to see if something else is amiss. Be sure to edit out your serial #. It can be found in crogram files>ahead>nero>nero history.log.

@kwakker5 You need to update Nero - the latest version of 6 is 6.6.0.18 - your a little behind Your fimrware is a little behind also - so that's needs to be updated too! Here's a link: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1911 Try those 2 things and try again. Let's us know how it turns out! I'm not a big fan of Ritek but all drives and setups are a little different on what they prefer so they may work well for you with these 2 updates. edit: spelling
