divx and divx

i downloaded some stuff in divx and xvid format, how can i change these formats and burn them on a dvd 4.5 gb i am using nero 6 edition, Anybody that could help would be appreciated thanks

Have you tried NeroVisionExpress?
All I do is drag existing files into NVE as they are and let NVE do all the converting and burning.

 

Ill try it but the last time i tried it gave me a finished time of about over 4 hours is this normal?, I have a 2400 processor with 40 gig hd and am using xp pro. Any thing you could add

Make sure you dont multitask while burning and shut down ALL progs you dont need. Burn at a slow speed, around 4x and use good media.

No 4 hours is really long, should be done in less than say 75-80 minutes. Maybe your comp has slipped into PIO mode, dont ask me what that means, I dont know..I've just read it in other threads.
