After dbl. clicking on my computer icon, locate your DVD drive and dbl.click it and see if you see file folders. If yes that the DVD drive is ok. A conflict is occuring. This happened several timewith me in the past. I simply closed out DVD43 and restarted it and all was ok or just reboot cpu.
When did problem start? you can go to cpu (system restore)to the date you kwow it worked last if all else fails.

Well the obvious answer is there's no disc in the drive :) But since that's probably not the case your drive doesn't like the media or format you are using. Which brand & format (- or +)of discs are you using? What's the model of your drive?
