   I just got home. I was listening to my ipod. All was cool. When I tried to turn it off it is locked on play and the backlight won't even come on. WTF? Have you ever heard of this?

   Did u try plugging into ur computer and resetting it and restoring it.

   try a soft reset before restoring it, it saves the hassle of having to put all of your songs back on afterwards. (soft reset = press & hold 'middle' & 'menu' button for 6 seconds untill the apple logo appears)
