recomend a free anti spam

    can anyone recomend me a free anti spam that compatible with hotmail or eprompter.

    ive seen a few decent ones but i was hoping that some one could recomend me one that theyve been using.

    i realy cant find one...im sure theres loads of decent anti spam that would be usefull..i just cant seem to get one that fits the standards.

    yep im looking for e mail...i geuss ill just go out and "buy" norton anti spam then..have you got any veiws on macafee spam killer?

    Im not much of a macafee fan but Ive heard great stuff about Norton,"buy" lol

    yeh Macafee was terible i "bought" it ealier, ill give norton a try later i was just hoping there would be a good freeware anti spam

    You could try mozilla thunderbird, which is a email client with built in junk mail filters. As for nortons, i hate everything about it.http://www.mozilla.com/thunderbird/

    is thunderbird conpatible with hotmail acounts??

    hmmm.. just read that thunderbird dosent support hotmail or netscape webmail. But i just rememberd this one i used to use. there is a pay and free version both work about the same. http://www.mailwasher.net/download.php its clean too so dont worry about ads and spyware.

    Well turns out it does support hotmail in the paid version.
    which email client do you use anyway? if you use outlook express i found this article on how to setup junk mail rules in it.

    im using eprompter, its not very well known at all but its quite good and highly rated on download.com..and aggain thanks for all the imput from everyone on this

    Mailwasher 5.1.0 (Free version) is doing a great job for me. I would say give it a try.

    cmaldona thanks for the reply but unfortunately for me its not compatible with hotmail acounts.... :)

    thanks for the imput though appriciate it and if any one finds one then tell me about it.
