hi im new to this. First i would like to say that this sight has helped me so much with my new power book that i have recently got how ever i am in a prety pickle. I am going on a travling trip soon and would like to take my power book 15 inch g4 with me along with my dvd colection to fill in all thoes anoying layovers at the airports i used to own an e mac and was able to sucfully back up my dvds onto a dvd-r using dvd back up and compresing it with dvd2onex1.o i went to back up my dvd last week as i had done with my e mac on my power book. but when i put in the dvd to make sure the dvd worked it only played half the movie and there where no titles I have no idea what i have done wrong but could some one help
I would recommend visiting the "Software" section on this site and downloading some of the free software, such as DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink, etc, etc. As well, keep in mind to use quality Media. Burn at no faster than 4x. Make sure your firmware is up to date. ...and the list goes on. The guides here are very helpful if you have additional inquiries. If I were to guess, I would say it sounds like possibly bad/cheap media. What brand are you using? Hope this was useful. JBurden
