I am a newbie and it has been impossible for me to backup one of
the movies of my private collection."The Sopranos" disc 2 Season 4.
I am using DVDXCOPY EXPRESS,I also used 1CLICKDVD.I tried ANYDVD and DVD43 with both software and noything happened,When it is 50% reading,I get a message "Error ocurred reading section/data:165/144" and a second message "UnableRead dvd".
Also when I insert A DVD,I get an invitation to install "INTERACTUAL PALYER 2.00".I heard this is a trick put by the companies to block copying. Please, help me.Someone in the Forum suggested that I clean
the disc and the drives.I cleaned the disc but dont know what is or how to clean the drives.Please.help me.

    Thanks
    Best Regards

it seems your dvd has maybe a damaged vob inserted to delay you copying your disc.Have you tried other programs like shrinkdvd.

If you have tried this but failed maybe suggest you try isobuster to see if it can recover the data to your hard drive 1st before you attempt to burn it to disc

It sounds like your original copy of Sopranos is dirty or is damaged (scratched). Clean the disk and just use DVD Shrink. If you think that the software is unable to handle this disk, try DVD Decrypter then Shrink, it will read past the bad sectors but it will take a little longer time wise. Many errors reading a sector is because of a problem with the disk itself
