Hi, can someone help me out? I'm using Fujifilm dvd-r's and it will only burn at 2x (if it even burns). At other speeds, there are errors. Thanks! Lets see what we got here: Your version of nero is behind. 6.6.0.18 is the latest vers 6. http://www.nero.com/nero6/enu/nero-up.php Get package 1 and 2 but not #3. Firmware out of date. i think you need GHR8 on this drive: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=97 The toshiba drive looks up to date on firmware. Burning too close to the edge of the disc. Set target size to Custom 4300 in Nero or shrink on the burn settings page. Usually Fujis are only good if Made in Japan, and then they come out Taiyo Yuden as the maker. Try some GOOD media like verbatim, Sony, Fuji, Maxell, last 3 MIJ. Cut your burn speed down to 4x. Once you have had many good burns under your belt, you can try going slightly faster, but get the bugs worked out first by sticking with 4x burn speed for now. its acting like it doesnt like your media. I am not sure if that is a version of INCD, and if it is, it needs to be removed. Use Nero's INCD zapper to get rid of it. http://www.nero.com/nero6/enu/InCD_CleanTool.html Give those things a try, and try some different GOOD media. Post back if still having problems after the updates.
