These programs will not work with PC games,

Anydvd,DVD shrink,DVD Decrypter is geared towards DVD protection.

Nero6-7 is a burning program and not a protection beater...persay

Aray scanner determines the types of protection the disc has.

Clonecd would not be my first choice at beating game protections but give it a go and let us know if it works, if not then we will try somthing else to get you going.

Does alcohol 120 come with lifetimes upgrades or just 1 year?
Also, if I want to copy a pc game onto my hard drive so that i wont have to use the cd to play the game anymore, what software would I need? If i do this, can i still play the game online?

if you want to burn pc games here is a quick step by step guide and i wont leave anything out:

    1. get clonecd from somewhere on the net (just goto yahoo and do a search for it and get version 5.2

    2. go through the setup process to install clonecd

    3. once installed open it up and there should be a thing that comes up giving you two options one is to order it and the other says "try it" click on "try it" and then ther are 4 icons you can click on (first is read the game you want burned/backedup, second is the tool you use to burn the image to a blank cd & ya dont need to know da rest) insert your pc game you want burned and click on the first icon (the one on the left)

    4. in this screen that has just come up on your left you have to select your cd burner then click next down bottom right

    5. in this screen on the left there is about 5 things you can select always choose "protected pc game" then click next in bottom right

    6. in this screen select the folder on your computer you want the image file to save to by clicking browse (i would suggest you make a special folder for this) then when you have selected where you want it to save click ok then the saving process will begin once the process has finished goto the folder that you saved the files into and check to see if they are there, there should be three files

    7. in the main window of clonecd click on the second icon (1 in from the left) and select the folder with the three files in it and it should just show the image file in there, now doulbe click on that image file and then insert a blank cd into your cd burner then click next in bottom right

    8. as before select protected pc game from the five or so options to the left and click ok then the window that asks you to "try it" comes up again so click on try it then the burning process begins and once it is finished you have a complete working copy/backup of your computer game

i hope you have a fun time burning lots of games m8 cause i sure do

I would recommend Alcohol for backing up CD games.
As far as I know there isn't another copy utility that works with Data Position Measurement copy protection as well as this.
Protection such as SecuROM 5.03.13.0113 requires the CD to have a hardware signature burned into the disk when made.
So although you will end up with a copy of a disk that looks okay and loads the software, it wont play the game.
CloneCD works on safedisc, but mentions nothing about StarForce, Laserlock, SecuROM, Protect-CD or Armadillo.

nero 7 should work the best if you do not have good disks that might be a big problem

Not true! If so prove it!!

This is true but you need to get around the games protection first otherwise the best disc in the world will not help.
