I'm looking for a list of recorders that have firware updates that eliminate macrovision. I noticed in several topics the Ilo/liteon model previously sold at Walmart mentioned as having that ability but they appear to be hard to find. My local Walmart actually still had the display model when I checked today but they wouldn't sell it to me. The manager insisted on returning it for a credit. Anyway I wondered if other, still available models had such hacks available? Like many others here I wish to convert my many vhs tapes to dvd and my ati aiw card isn't cooperating on more than a few of them. I also would like another dvd player and a recorder would kill two birds with one stone. Thanks for any information in advance.
