I recently got dsl installed on my system. The problem that I have now is that my burner doesn't perform at top speed anymore. What do I need to do?

Like david has said, one has nothing to do with the other. The only possibility is that you dsl used a USB port that was 2.0 and you have since plugged your burner into another port that is only 1.1

Have you changed where you plug in your burner now?
