    Hi
I want to burn my .avi movie files onto a DVD so that I can watch them on TV. I was told that nerovision express should do the job as it automatically converts .avi files during the burning process.

However, whenever I install it I need a serial number, which I do not have.

Are there any other alternatives to nero that i can use to burn my .avi file on to dvd?????????????????

    regards

    mrs z

Well if you don't want to pay the full price for nero and don't want to do much work there is a simple program for ~$30:

    VSO's DivxtoDVD:

    http://www.vso-software.fr/shop_if.php

Its pretty much a one click process and you can add chapters but a menu is a different story. I havn't used it to burn personally but have heard good stories.

The above link explains the DivXtoDVD process and the program.

If you do decide to use DivxToDVD then also download CopyToDVD to burn with. Just check the box that says burn with CopyToDVD. Both made by VSO.
