when I open up any Nero Application and click on Help File, a dialog box appears instead showing a link that says this version does not contain the helpfiles or manuals. You can download the helpfiles and manuals in your language from:

    http://www.nero7.com/link.php?topic_id=7078

So I re-download them and yet again the Help files do not work...where do you put the help files or manuals so that they will work with the corresponding application in use?

    Thank-you

P.S. I bought the full version and their were a few problems until I downloaded their newer version 7014b but help files don't work. The newer version state Nero Demo but that they would change that in their next update but their help files will not work with Nero Demo and that I would have to download them instead.

Nero doesn't have help files per sea but you can download the user guides at www.nero.com/nero7/enu/User_Guides.html

If you download the chm version of them they are then help files. To install them to work as help files you have to install them to the root of wherever you installed nero. In a default install of nero it installs to c:/program files/nero that is where to install the chm files that you download if you did a default install. When doing the install it made a subfolder under nero called nero7 dont install to that folder or the install of the chm files will still make a subfolder under nero7 called nero7 with the files in there folders thinking thats where you installed nero. They then will not work through help or any other shortcut inside start smart or whatever.

If you changed the install path of nero then you will need to install the chm files to the path you installed to. Say for example you told nero to install to c:/nero then the path to install the chm files will be c:/nero even though inside c:/nero you will see only a folder that is called nero7. Its kind of like unpacking a file structure to its original file structure subfolders and all.
