Here's a good one: •Fact .. You CANNOT booktype -R media to DVD-ROM •Fact .. You CAN booktype +R media to DVD-ROM •Fact .. DVD-ROM is the MOST COMPATIBLE FORMAT To properly or successfully have your drive change the book type or bitsettings from DVD+R to DVD-ROM, your burner/drive needs to support book type or bitsettings. However, most of LG, Sony/Lite-On, BenQ, Plextor, and NEC (needs to have hacked firmware) can change the book type easily when you're using a DVD+R, DVD+RW or DVD+R DL to burn. *NOTE: If you have the following set to "Automatic", then whenever you use Nero Recode 2, Nero Express, Nero Burning Rom or Nero Vision to burn, all your backups will automatically set the “Book Type” to DVD-ROM if you’re using a DVD+R, DVD+RW or DVD+R DL media. That is... if your dvd burner is capable of book typing. ((Here's how to Book Type using Nero Burning Rom)) 01) open up Nero StartSmart, then click on Nero Burning Rom 02) EXIT out the "New Compilation" when it pops up 03) click on "Chooses A Recorder" (it's a small burner icon next to (I) and the arrow down) 04) click on “Options," then on "Book Type Settings," set to "Automatic" and click "OK" - that's it... easy as smoking. Now every time when you burn using a DVD+R, DVD+RW or DVD+R DL disc, Nero will “automatically” change the Book Type into a DVD-ROM format. Good luck and have fun burning!!
As always alkohol another easy to follow guide, you make it so easy for us. As GlueEater says..just refer to your guide.
So, by doing what you said to do, I can create a DVD ISO file and burn it with Nero and it will always burn the ISO file as DVD-ROM? No matter if it's a DATA-DVD or Movie DVD?
