I purchased a HP M7360n media center and i'm trying to connect my sony hi8 handy cam to the tower using the front composite video s2 input and audio inputs ,,,, my camcorder has a input that i use a monster cable 3 into 1 split but i can not see video on mu monitor,, really new at this ,, even tried a s-video cable,, do i need to be in widows media palyer or something??
You need to Open up the Capture Software before you will see a Picture and be able to Record a Picture...You will also have to select what Inputs on the Card you are useing in the Capture Software (EG: if you are useing the S-Video inputs you will have to select "S-Video" as the Video source in your Capture software)....
