you need a program for watching dvds and a dvd rom for playing them not dvd decryper that is used for ripping and burning

do you have a dvd rom? windows media player 9 will play dvds and it is free you can dowload load it from windows up date or you can invest in program called Power dvd this is not a free program or google dvd player

I gave you two links for the better players on the market. There are some included in recording suites such as Nero. It takes a DVD drive and a player software like the ones mentioned. Hopefully your system will support it. PowerDVD will run from a P3, so it doesn't demand much. WinDVD7 is a bit more demanding, but I prefer it. So, DVD drive, DVD player software and you should be ready to watch. If you have the drive, you can download a trial of buy tonight and start watching.

Anyone notice those nice links I took time to post. They're for PowerDVD and WinDVD 7. They're DVD player software. Windows will work, but it's far from being a good player. With the ones I listed you have controls similar to a dvd standalone player, with a large number of utilities related to dvd replay and capture.
