I want to back up a copy of the series DeadWood (HBO) I am useing Clone DVD2 and Any DVD, no problem as of yet.

Because this is a HBO series do I have to do anything different when backing up?

When I back up a movie I only backup the film and nothing more no trailers, bla bla bla.

    Thanks
    Tom

    TomF1 ,
Welcome to the forum. You are going to have to either back up the whole disk or split the disk. If you are going to do the whole disk I recommend you use DVDRebuilder ( there is a free version) and use the HC encoder( also free). Not sure if CloneDVD can split the disk( never tried it) but if it can the split the disk and keep the menus then do it that way as the compression ratio will be better

I did season one w/o issues. Used the programs in my sig. Pretty heavy compression I believe....but they looked great on my TV. Can't wait for season 2 to be released on DVD!
