i just bought a new labtop, it isnt exactly a gaming rig but im sure it can handle a fun online FPS game.

    the specs are
    Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.73GHz
    1024MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce Go 6800 256.0 MB

any good games in mind that can work well with these specs.

these two games instantly came to mind, CoD2 and BF2
    can my labtop handle it?

you think that that laptop isnt a good gaming rig... im glad to tell you that your sadly mistaken... that laptop has got kick ass graphics and plenty of memory... the only thing letting it down is the processor but thats not bad either.

you should be able to play nearly any game you want on that

yes i've gotten that reply about the processor before...the problem with that is that when i custimized this labtop on DELL.com, i felt it wasn't worth it to spend an extra $300 to upgrade from a 1.7 to 2.0

do u think i should have spent that extra 300?

Depends on how you want it badly; I'm a FPS fan so that $300 would of been worth it. But if you're just want to play FPS here and there, then it's not worth the money.

However there's other FPS games you could play besides CoD2 [which is an awesome] and BF2; go for the classics! CounterStrike Source is one of 'em classic [upgrade version of original Counterstrike]. But if anything, the computer should handle CoD2 and BF2 with below average [medium] settings.

How much you bought that Dell laptop?

Counter Stike all the way. Can't beat the games. and you get other games with it. if you get Half-Life(2) you get other games that is a mod of Half-Life, like GoldenEye: Source, Day of Defeat, etc. All great fps games, and lots for free. cant go wroung with that. Plus, cs never gets boring.

if you do get source some good mods are Goldeneye which is a remake of the original N64 version and really good; sven coop source is coming out which is a coop for half-life 2. So far the best Mod i've played is on called Hidden.

half-life 2 deathmatch is the funnest funkyest freashes stuff ive evered played, and it will run no matter what that stupid steam thing says about how your graphics card won't support it. i have a 4200 serious and it runs with the highest detial ive ever seen and trust me ive seen high detail, but be careful, if you dont have enough ram, then you keep getting minimized with the Virtual memory thing.
