    I'm getting desperate!
I first downloaded 1 Click DVD Copy about three weeks ago. It worked fine in the beginning. I was able to make several DVD's. All of a sudden, during "copytodvd" my disc ejected and I received the following error "write error at 1304176 (16) - Code 05 21 00 (Illegal request, LBA out of range)." Before I knew it, I was making 1 good copy for each 2, then 3, then 4 or more DVD's attempted. I now haven't been able to make a copy in several days (many DVD's later). I found this forum and learned a lot about media. I downloaded DVD Identifer and learned the media I was originally using was ...RitekG05 (same media that did in fact, work in the beginning). So I tried other media such as Memorex (which DVD identifier stated was RitekF1)...that ejected early. I then used Maxell (RitekG05), and it also failed. I'm going to go to the store tomorrow and buy Verbatim. Am I wasting my time...and money? I've read through this forum and have seen several errors similar to mine but have not seen "LBA out of range." Why would it work in the beginning (same media that started failing) and just start acting up like this? I EVEN reformatted my computer thinking that maybe I got some nasty virus or something. Well my hard drive is "tabla rosa" (needed a good cleaning anyways) but the problem still remains. Can anyone help me? I'm so frustrated.

The Ritek GO5 is good media, throw the memorex away it's crap. Verbatim also good media. What speed are you burning at

@zannis, I see you just highjacked another thread, thats frowned upon here. DONT be so impatient
Hijacking a thread is when someone "enters" the existing thread with a NON related question. Post your OWN thread as you have done.

Gwen I have no idea what hijacking a thread is but my thoughts are that it may be going into someone else's thread and asking a question instead of giving a response....is that it? Okay, that I get. I'm a doctor...not a computer wiz...this is the first time I've ever used a forum before...forgive my ignorance.
Thank you for responding. Can I change the record speed in 1 click dvd copy? I own a Sony 16X DVD-R (DW-Q30A). Do you know what "LBA out of range means?" What can I do to start making good copies again?

I am unable to help you with that one but if you sit back and relax for a while someone will come along and hopefully give you the info you seek. PS throw the memorex away and keep the GO5s..no need to buy any more discs.
