MiniDV editing software

    I am going to purchase a MiniDV camcorder soon. Just wondering what brand of software is the best for editing video. What is the easiest to use or the best software for the buck? Thanks for your help.

    I am currently looking at getting a Sony HC32 or a Canon ZR200. Does anyone have any feelings towards one over the other. Any pro/cons from any of the major companies? Thanks again.

    Video editing software is available in almost every level of sophistication and price. Starting from the free Microsoft Moviemaker (included in XP) to one of the most advanced like Adobe Premiere Pro for $850.
